2026 Has Begun

Why This Is a Decisive Year for Us

By Silvio Rotilli, Co-founder and CEO of Auper

Every major creation or launch comes with challenges and demands resilience. No major company we know today had an easy or linear journey, especially in its early days, and Auper would be no different.

Six intense years of work and commitment have brought us here, and I am extremely excited to finally start sharing with the entire world what we have built.

Our team has been working intensely in recent months, focused on building, testing, refining and solving problems that only appear when you are doing something truly big and difficult. And that level of dedication will not slow down any time soon.

The past year, 2025, was one of the most important in our history. It was the year we turned vision, engineering, and persistence into something concrete and ready for production. We reached key milestones in manufacturing, technology, testing, and systems integration.

Now, in 2026, all of this work converges. This is the year we begin delivering the Founder Edition to our first riders, validate the 600 CE in real-world fleet tests, and prepare for scaled production.

And what excites me most about all this is not just the official launch of the motorcycle, but how we got here and where we chose to build all of this.

From the beginning, I made a decision many advised me not to make. They said it would be easier to develop the motorcycle outside Brazil. They said not to develop the technology in-house, but to outsource, import, and merely assemble it here. That way we could avoid rigorous safety testing, sidestep regulatory requirements, and reduce the high development costs.

They were not wrong about one thing: it would have been much easier and faster. But in our view, it would not have been the right thing.

Building in Brazil is hard, and that is why it was our choice

Anyone who has ever built real technology in Brazil knows the reality: it is very complex and challenging. Regulations are strict, bureaucracy often works against development speed, requirements are complex, and infrastructure does not always help. Innovating and building a business here demands persistence, courage, and patience.

And yet, we see the same result repeat itself when products are designed elsewhere and simply brought to Brazil: they may work well in other countries, but fail to meet the real needs of our market. What our rider needs is very different and unique. Our roads, our climate, our reality... that does not exist out there.

From early on, I made a clear commitment: Auper would be designed in Brazil, by Brazilian engineers, built with Brazilian labor, for Brazil. Regardless of the challenges. We decided to face them and prove that it is possible, that our country is capable. That we are capable.

These challenges pushed us to evolve even further

Choosing to build here forced us to raise the bar at every step of the process. We embraced and elevated rigorous safety requirements, prioritized deep testing over shortcuts, and designed a vehicle that can withstand everything our Brazil can throw at it. And with that, Auper became stronger.

Not just faster or more advanced. But more reliable. We changed course countless times, replanned within hours, and worked around everything that came our way. I know I have said this before, but these last months have truly been intense.

And it would be a mistake not to say something clearly: I have enormous pride in the Auper team. Honestly, I cannot imagine a better group of people to bring this technology to market. The dedication, resilience, and talent of this team - engineering, manufacturing, operations... - are the reason we are here today. Building something this ambitious in Brazil requires conviction, discipline, and a rare level of commitment. This team delivers all of that, every day, going above and beyond.

Our key milestones

At Auper, we are not just meeting Brazil's quality and safety standards, we are going beyond them:

  • Battery pack safety and efficiency, designed to manage high power reliably under high stress.

  • An in-house vehicle control system, the motorcycle's brain, carefully engineered to deliver battery power to the motor safely while managing all low-voltage and communication systems.

  • Reliability designed for Brazilian roads, where heat, vibration, and rain are constant factors, not exceptions.

  • Testing in extreme temperatures and severe conditions, far beyond ideal environments.

  • Systems designed to operate continuously, connected 24/7, with consistent real-world performance, not just on paper.

We do not measure ourselves against the minimum required by the standard, but rather against what riders truly need and deserve - after all, we are riders too, and we know this reality well.

Auper is proof that real innovation can be built in Brazil, and that overcoming these challenges is worth it when the result is something genuinely better. Everyone who tests our motorcycles has the same reaction. When they see them on the street, they stop to ask who made it and where it comes from (they are always incredulous to learn it is Brazilian). When they ride it, the reaction goes even deeper. The design, the performance, the feel on the road - there is nothing like it on the streets today! It is something that truly has to be experienced to be understood.

And being able to say it was designed and built right here in Brazil, in our country, makes this moment even more special. This is what we are bringing to the streets in 2026.

Start of deliveries

If you are one of the early adopters who secured a reservation for our Founder Edition, you already know what is ahead, because we spoke personally with each of you back in 2025.

Our expectation is to begin Founder Edition deliveries in the third quarter of 2026. After that, the other Extended Battery and Base models will be fulfilled progressively, respecting the reservation order. As we get closer to those dates, our team will reach out to you directly, sharing more details and the next steps.

For customers who reserved other models, we will contact you with the estimated delivery dates as we get closer to those versions.

Thank you for believing in what we are building and for staying by our side. I and the entire team are more excited than ever about what we have built, about everything it represents for Brazilian engineering and technology, and about what lies ahead. Together, we will go much further!
